Be Fitness Vigilant | AFNA’s Maxim for 2021

Be:  Dictionary.com defines the word be: to exist or live

Fitness:  The American College of Sports Medicine, ACSM, defines physical fitness as the ability to carry out daily tasks with vigor and alertness, without undue fatigue, and with ample energy to enjoy leisure-time pursuits and meet unforeseen emergencies.

Vigilant:  According to the Mirriam-Webster Dictionary, vigilant is an adjective meaning alertly watchful especially to avoid danger.

Maxim:  Wikipedia states, a maxim is a concise expression of a fundamental principle, whether considered as objective or subjective contingent on one’s philosophy. A maxim is often pedagogical and motivates specific actions.

2021:  Your year to Be Fitness Vigilant

Dictionary.com’s definition of the verb, be, includes Shakespeare’s ultimate question, “To be or not to be.”
